UCOMPOSITION / DETAILS OF CONSTITUENTS

Chemical characteristics

Antiknock mixture on the basis of hydrocarbons with the addition of stabilizer and characteristic non-metal active compound. A hydrocarbon is an organic chemical compound that is comprised only of carbon (C) and hydrogen (H) atoms.

POSSIBLE HAZARDS

Flammable, form into explosive compound when the vapor mixes with air; combustion & explosion on circumstances of visible fire, high temperature, or contacted with oxidant. React fiercely with oxidant. The vapor is lighter than air can spread to a rather wide distance at a low ground, and lead to back flash in circumstance of visible fire.

UFIRST AID MEASURES

Description of first aid measures

General advice:Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.

If inhaled:If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.

In case of skin contact:Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Take victim immediately to hospital. Consult a physician.

In case of eye contact:Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.

If swallowed:Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.Consult a physician.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

Cough, Shortness of breath, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Absorption into the body leads to the formation of methemoglobin which in sufficient concentration causes cyanosis. Onset may be delayed 2 to 4 hours or longer., To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical, and toxicological properties have not been thoroughly investigated.

Possible symptoms:

Slower pulse, nausea, vomiting, headache, circulatory collapse, trembling.

Treatment:

Monitor circulation, treat for shock if necessary, stomach pump in case of

swallowing.

UTACKLING FIRES

Suitable extinguishers:

Large fires:

Hydrocarbon fires require a Class B extinguishing agent. Purple-K is one of the best such agents for Class BC fires. Get your PK-extinguishers or bulk powder.

Small fires:

ABC powder, carbon dioxide.

Unsuitable extinguishers for safety reasons:

Full water jet.

Particular hazards of the substance, its combustion products or gases produced:

Combustion (decomposition) products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitric oxide.

Decomposition products containing halogen. Do not inhale explosion and fire gases.

Special safety equipment:

Respiratory equipment with an independent air supply. Full protective suit.

Other remarks:

When extinguishing, care should be taken to ensure that none of the product is washed into the sewerage

or water. Fire residue and contaminated extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance there

is no risk to nearby equipment/buildings or a hazard to human health as a result of fire gases, antiknock

mixture fires should be left to burn themselves out as far as possible.

6.

UMEASURES IN THE EVENT OF UNINTENTIONAL RELEASE

Personal precautions:

Strictly prohibit from possible sources of ignition.

Personnel should avoid direct skin and eye contact and wear filter type protective gas mask, Chemical

safety anti-spray goggles, anti-static suit, anti-static shoes and protective gloves. Took a bath and change clean clothes as finished work.

Environmental measures:

Prevent from spreading (e.g. by damming, using chemical binders).

Contaminate to environment, and do not allow enter into environment.

Do not allow product to enter the sewerage system.

Cleaning/collection procedure:

Collect using a fluid-binding material (chemicals or oil binders) and dispose of in accordance with the

local regulations (special waste).

Chlorine bleaching solution (1 part to 3 parts water).

Detoxification agents are oxidation agents and must never be used dry or undiluted, or mixed together

with other detoxification agents.

In case of leakage:

Evacuate personnel to safety area, and segregate enter in & out. The disposal personnel should take

Positive Pressure Air Breathing Apparatus, wear protective suits. Use sand, stone or other inert materials

to assimilate. Or Construct fence or dig big pit to bury, Use anti-explosion pump to carry to particular

tanker container, recycling or send to disposal yard for disposing.

7.

UHANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling:

Instructions on safe handling:

Do not use mechanical instruments or tools of easy sparking, the flowing speed should not exceed 3m/s when refilling, grounding installation is required. Avoid static congregation, gently load and unload in handling, avoid any damage in package and vessel.

Instructions on fire and explosion prevention:

all the illumination & ventilation instruments of the working room should be anti-explosive, with switches

installed outside; administer anti-fire, anti-explosive and anti-storm arrangement when refilling storage.

All the required fire-fighting infrastructure ( anti-fire apparatus, fire-fighting pillar, sand & etc.)

and anti-fire space for working place must be up to standard.

Discharging or Loading the tank

When loading or discharging , the tank should be connected to the earth with a wire as anti-static equipment to avoid any danger happens.

Shelf life time:

Quality of A819 when maintained under ambient temperature conditions has a shelf life of 12 months from date of production.

Requirements for storage rooms and containers:

In place of dry, good ventilation and no direct sunshine.

Notes on mixed storage:

Materials should not be mixed: strong oxidant (peroxide, nitrate and acid perchlorate) which will possibly

lead to fire and explosion.

Other details of storage conditions:

Fire-fighter, anti-storm, anti-electricity device installed in the storage area, far away from inhabitation area.

Recommended storage temperature:

Inside of storage tanks temperature is ≤170℃ and sealed storage tank.

Primary irritant effect:

An inhale of relatively high dense in a short time will lead to obvious irritant symptom to eyes, upper

respiratory tract, conjunctiva, throat congestion, and light-headed, headache, vomiting, nausea, stuffing,

collapse. Those who are seriously infected will turn to be hyperactivity, trembling, and faint.

Observed effect on humans:

The major effect of exposure to this product is central nervous system depression and polyneuropathy

Hazards of Combustion Products:

Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide can be found in the combustion products of hydrocarbon

Carbon monoxide in moderate concentrations can cause symptoms of headache, nausea, vomiting,

increased cardiac output, and confusion. Exposure to higher concentrations of carbon monoxide can

cause loss of consciousness, heart damage, brain damage.

Exposure to high concentrations of carbon dioxide can cause simple asphyxiation by displacing available

oxygen. Combustion of this and other similar materials should only be carried out in well ventilated areas.

The nature of Antiknock-819 (A819):

The anti-knock nature can essentially eliminate the peroxide formed during the gasoline combustion, and the hydrogen peroxide is the simplest peroxide formed in the gasoline combustion. According to the antiknock theory research to Aniline category compound, this was proved to react with the hydrogen peroxide and get the hydrogen peroxide eliminated. And we can further conclude that the aniline category compound could happen the oxidation once it was added to the gasoline, thus the aniline category compound can work to eliminate the peroxide and also reduce its concentration for lessening the knock, and finally achieve the anti-knock effects.
